What is intelligence and is it possible to transfer human learning processes to machines? May machines perhaps even think "better"? Do we still have control over artificial intelligence? In this workshop, we will explore the concept of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on machine learning. Examples from Switzerland show how Artificial Intelligence can help to describe the current state and future developments of our environment and to link this with our everyday life. Topics like energy supply, climate change and agriculture will be discussed. Different forms of artificial intelligence will be learned "in action", tested and the advantages and disadvantages discussed.
